My Timberking bandmill alows me to handle logs and cants up to 30" across and 20 feet long, as well as re-saw widths up to 28”. Having a sawmill right at my shop gives me the unique ability to saw or re-saw my own lumber to the best dimensions for my projects, as well as do custom sawing for others. I can also saw with showing figure in wood in mind such as crotches from walnut or cut on the quarter to expose ray fleck patterns in woods such as white oak and sycamore. I have cut and air dried some wood species that are not typically used for lumber including: Red-bud, sumac, lilac, apple, pear, catalpa, dogwood, plum, and many more to come.
